We were asked to design a mobile first website for Monart Spa Poundbury in Dorset UK. The key requirements were that it have great user interface, look great, be web optimised and built on a platform that could be easily updated by the Monart Poundbury marketing team. The website needed to align with the existing visual brand of Monart Poundbury and be future proof so it can integrate with a new booking and payment system.
We produced the logo and signage for Monart Poundbury so we understood the customer profile and the brand requirements. The website design and build started before the Spa was opened so initially we created a landing page with a form for users to register their interest. To reflect the calming and luxurious attributes of the spa the navigation and some of the body text will gradually appear on the page, encouraging the user to pause and to take in visuals of the beautiful spaces created within. The photography is bespoke to Monart Spa Poundbury and paired with a subtle colour palette throughout the mobile let site.
